OSHA 10 Hour Construction
The Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) 10-Hour Construction course is designed to provide employees with an introduction to OSHA as well as cover specific hazards in the construction industry. The OSHA 10-Hour Construction course is designed to meet OSHA mandates with respect to required and elective topics.
The class covers the following main topics:
- Introduction to OSHA
- Focus Four Hazards
- Personal Protective and Lifesaving Equipment
- Health Hazards in Construction
The OSHA 10-Hour Construction class is an entry level class designed to introduce students to OSHA and construction safety topics. Depending on an employee’s experience the course may be appropriate for laborers, project superintendents, project estimators, project managers, safety professionals and senior management. The OSHA 30-Hour Construction is designed to be a more in-depth course for supervisors and/or employees with safety responsibilities.
Note that the course topics outlined above are those of an open enrollment NTS class. The OSHA 10-Hour Construction class provides some required topics as well as some elective course material. Elective course material can be tailored to address company specific safety concerns and topics for customized training programs.Class Locations

The class is a 10 hour course. Based on OSHA guidelines for no more than 7.5 hours of classroom education per day, the course is conducted over 2 or more days.Languages Offered
