Certified Flagger

28B-160%.r2The Certified Flagger seminar is designed to introduce students to the duties and responsibilities of a flagger, as well as related safety concerns. For those students that will be responsible for serving as flaggers for their employers, the course will provide the student with the necessary education to fulfill that position. 

The Certified Flagger is designed to provide basic knowledge of the flagger operations and prepare students to perform those duties. The class specifically covers the following topics:

  • Proper Flagger Operations
  • Abilities Of A Good Flagger
  • Proper Flagging Signals And Procedures
  • Flagger Practices For Various Typical Situations

The class is designed to benefit all employees but is most appropriate for employees that will be serving as a flagger, supervising flagger operations or responsible for the field operations and/or safety of flagger operations.

Class Length

The Certified Flagger class is a 4 hour course.
