HOUSTON, T.X. – National Trench Safety, LLC (NTS), a Houston-based company specializing in the rental and sales of trench and traffic safety equipment, as well as OSHA-compliant training classes, announced today the opening of a new traffic safety branch operation in Los Angeles, California.
“We are very excited about the new Los Angeles operation,” commented Ron Chilton, President of NTS. “Los Angeles is the second largest metropolitan area in the United States and has an extensive amount of construction and economic activity. We have received a lot of feedback from our customer base and our primary traffic safety product vendor, Trinity Industries, requesting an NTS presence within the market.”
The branch is the first NTS location that specializes exclusively on the rental and sales of traffic safety products and supplies. “The Los Angeles market presented a unique opportunity to expand our traffic safety reach statewide,” commented Chilton. The Los Angeles branch will be managed by Tom Hartman, a trench and traffic safety equipment veteran with 30+ years of experience within the industry. “Tom is a well-known, respected industry veteran and a cofounder of NTS. Tom has built a strong and highly experienced team to operate the new branch. The good news is the market clearly is responding well to our new operation and we are already seeing strong orders from the customers in the market place,” explained Chilton.
The Los Angeles branch is the 15th operational location for National Trench Safety in the United States. NTS now has operations in Arizona, California, Louisiana, Nevada, North Carolina, South Carolina, Texas and Utah.
In maintaining the objective of building a nationwide network of trench and traffic safety branches, NTS plans to open at least one additional new branch operation in 2012 with additional branches planned to follow in 2013.
