This course offers an awareness of the issues involved with fall protection. A focus on the best practices in fall protection and the need to protect workers at height highlights this informative training course. Participants are introduced to the regulations and standards governing fall protection as well as the components of a fall protection system including body support, anchorages, connectors and rescue.
Upon successful completion of this course the student will receive a certificate recognizing they have completed the training required to meet OSHA and ANSI requirements as an Authorized Person.

This half-day course will provide an overview of fall protection principles and the essential equipment components used in a basic personal fall restraint or arrest system. Students will gain an introductory understanding of basic fall protection safety systems as it applies to a routine work environment or task, and learn how to correctly use the appropriate fall protection systems.

In addition to the general principles of working safely at height, this one-day course also covers common fall protection systems, providing knowledge on selection, set-up, and usage. A variety of instructional techniques, including challenge questions, workbook exercises, and practical learning applications, will be used to educate course participants. The curriculum will cover proper pre-use inspection, harness donning, system selection, and system set-up.
