This course includes both theoretical and practical assessments.

The CPR, First Aid and AED seminar is designed to teach basic knowledge, skills and training related to basic first aid, cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and automated external defibrillator (AED). The course is also designed to give students the confidence to respond to adult, child and infant emergencies. Upon completion the student will receive a wallet certification card from the American Red Cross.

Recognize a medical emergency.
Handle breathing and cardiac emergencies.
Act appropriately and effectively and sustain life until professional help arrives.
Prevent disease transmission.
Identify and care for bleeding, sudden illness and injuries.

The class is a 1 day course.

NTS offers the class in both English and Spanish.
