These modular systems use interchangeable hydraulic components and extension bars to form stable layouts for cofferdams, basements, underground structures and other heavy civil applications. Each system is designed with engineering expertise to handle varied excavation sizes and configurations, delivering steady, predictable performance on complex work.

Hydraulic shores are the quickest way to shore a trench. They are designed to prevent cave-ins in all but the most unstable soil conditions by supporting the sidewalls of the trench through hydraulic pressure. All vertical shores are installed and removed from the top of the trench. Hydraulic vertical shores are lightweight shoring devices that can be installed by a single worker as fast as the trench is excavated.

Slide rail shoring is important in excavation, especially in areas with unfavorable ground conditions or with underground infrastructure issues. National Trench Safety’s slide rails are lighter, allowing for easier installation, giving you more time on the job while adding additional safety measures.
