HOUSTON, T.X.—National Trench Safety, LLC (NTS), a Houston-based company specializing in the rental and sales of trench and traffic safety equipment, trench and traffic safety engineering, and OSHA-compliant training classes, announced today that Mr. Wendell Wood, a highly experienced trench safety veteran has joined NTS’ Customer Training Division.
“We’re very pleased to be adding Wendell to the NTS team to further the development and reach of our OSHA compliant training programs,” explained Ron Chilton, President of NTS. Wendell Wood is one of the most experienced and well-known individuals within the trench safety industry. His career in the industry stretches over three decades with a breadth of experience including product sales specialist, product application specialist, distribution manager and safety trainer. In addition to his significant product experience, Wendell has been involved and worked with the Excavation Safety Standard since the early 1980s, having conducted training programs in association with Dr. Jack Mickle, one of the primary authors of the standard. In addition to his extensive training and product background, Wendell has also served as an expert representative before congressional hearings on the Excavation Safety Standard.
Since NTS’ inception the Company has placed a premium on being able to offer its customers a comprehensive, high quality training program.
