HOUSTON, T.X.—National Trench Safety, LLC (NTS), a Houston-based company specializing in the rental and sales of trench and traffic safety equipment, trench and traffic safety engineering, and OSHA-compliant training classes, announced today the opening of a new branch operation in Mobile, Alabama.
“We are extremely excited to about the potential in the Mobile market,” remarked Ron Chilton, President of NTS. “Mobile will be an important industrial market for us and immediately strengths our branch network along the Gulf Coast into Florida. We’re fortunate to have several key customers we’ve worked with in the market the last few years and will be looking to expand service and coverage to these customers as well as other customers in the Mobile and surrounding market.”
The Mobile branch will be managed by Jon Frits, a trench safety veteran with significant industry and branch management experience. “Jon is an industry veteran that understands the market and the customer base very well,” explained Chilton. “Jon also has a very thorough understanding of the equipment and excavation conditions that contractors typically face within this market, so he’ll be an immediate asset to our customer base as we grow the Mobile operation.”
The Mobile branch is the 23rd branch location for National Trench Safety in the United States. NTS now has operations in Alabama, Arizona, California, Florida, Illinois, Louisiana, Nevada, North Carolina, South Carolina, Texas and Utah.
In maintaining its objective of building a nationwide network of trench and traffic safety branches, NTS plans to open several additional branch operations through the end of 2014 and into 2015.
