HOUSTON, T.X.—National Trench Safety, LLC (NTS), a Houston-based company specializing in the rental and sales of trench and traffic safety equipment, as well as OSHA-compliant training classes, announced today that it has opened a new branch in Irving, Texas which is a suburb of Dallas.
“We are very excited about our new Dallas operation,” said Ron Chilton, president of NTS. “Irving is centrally located between Dallas and Fort Worth (DFW) and our new branch is very close to Texas Stadium and immediately off of Loop 12. The DFW area is one of the largest metropolitan areas in the Southwest and we have invested more upfront fleet dollars in our new Dallas branch than normal to assure we can respond to the market needs in a timely manner. The Dallas branch is the ninth branch operation for National Trench Safety in the United States and the sixth branch location in the State of Texas. NTS currently has branch operations in California, Arizona, Texas and Louisiana.”
The new Dallas branch will be managed by Fred Burlbaw, who has more than 15 years direct experience in the trench and traffic safety industry. “We are fortunate to have Fred heading up our new Dallas operation,” said Chilton. “Fred has also built a highly experienced sales and support team that are all well known in the market.”
In maintaining the objective of building a nationwide network of trench and traffic safety branches, NTS plans to open at least four additional new branch operations in 2007 with additional branches to follow in 2008. For strategic reasons, Chilton declined to comment on the location of the additional new branches. For more information about NTS, visit the National Trench Safety website at ntsafety.wpengine.com.
