National Trench Safety Opens New Branch Service Center in Burlington, North Carolina

HOUSTON, T.X.-National Trench Safety, LLC (NTS), a Houston-based company specializing in the rental and sales of trench and traffic safety equipment, as well as OSHA-compliant training classes, announced today that it has opened a new service and repair facility in Burlington, North Carolina.

“We are very excited about the opening of our new Burlington service center,” said Ron Chilton, President of NTS. “As we continue our expansion of our national branch footprint, we must continue to build the internal infrastructure to support our current and future branch locations. While this new facility will not be doing direct rentals and sales to the customer base, these service centers are an integral part of our national operational model”.

The Burlington service center will focus on the more complex repair and service functions for our trench and traffic safety rental fleet as well as performing added value fabrication and customizations to our new rental fleet additions before they go into service. “Due to the significant safe working environment much of our equipment is designed to provide, it is vitally important to maintain our industry leading quality control programs to assure our equipment is performing at or above its designed specifications and parameters. We needed the presence in Burlington, to support our new Charleston, South Carolina branch as well as our existing customer projects and future locations along the East Coast,” Chilton explained.

The Burlington service center is the 14th operational facility for National Trench Safety in the United States. NTS now has operations in Arizona, California, Louisiana, Nevada, North Carolina, South Carolina, Texas and Utah.

In maintaining the objective of building a nationwide network of trench and traffic safety branches, NTS plans to open at least two additional new branch operations in 2012 with additional branches planned to follow in 2013. For strategic reasons, Chilton declined to comment on the location of the additional new branches. For more information about NTS, visit the National Trench Safety website at ntsafety.wpengine.com.
