Excavation Competent Person

The Competent Person for Excavation Safety seminar is designed to provide students with an awareness of the 1926 Subpart P Excavation Standard as well as an introduction to current protective system design and selection. For those employees that an employer wishes to be a Competent Person the class will provide the technical education component of the Occupational Safety and Health Administration’s (OSHA) Competent Person requirements.

 

Confined Space Construction Awareness

The Confined Space Construction seminar is designed to provide students with awareness of the 1926.1200 standard. For those employees that will be working in confined spaces, the class will also address duties and responsibilities of Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) required positions.

 

Confined Space General Industry Awareness

The Confined Space General Industry seminar is designed to provide students with an awareness of the 1910.146 standard. For those employees that will be working in confined spaces, the class will also address duties and responsibilities of Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) required positions.

 

OSHA 10 Hour Construction & General Industry

The Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) 10-Hour Construction course is designed to provide employees with an introduction to OSHA as well as cover specific hazards in the construction industry. The course is designed to meet OSHA mandates with respect to required and elective topics.

 

OSHA 30 Hour Construction & General Industry

The Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) 30-Hour Construction is designed to address construction hazards. OSHA recommends the OSHA 30 Hour Construction course as an orientation to occupational safety and health for workers as it provides intermediate classroom coverage of the hazard recognition and worker safety.

 

CPR, First Aid and AED

The CPR, First Aid and AED seminar is designed to teach basic knowledge, skills and training related to basic first aid, cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and automated external defibrillator (AED). The course is also designed to give students the confidence to respond to adult, child and infant emergencies.

 

Train the Trainer Programs

NTS offers a comprehensive “Train the Trainer” program for many of its most popular courses. Train the Trainer Programs are designed to provide an in-depth look at a subject matter and to position attendees with the technical knowledge to teach the subject matter.

 

ATSSA Certified Flagger

The Certified Flagger seminar is designed to introduce students to the duties and responsibilities of a flagger, as well as related safety concerns. For those students that will be responsible for serving as flaggers for their employers, the course will provide the student with the necessary education to fulfill that position.

 

3M Authorized Person Essentials & Authorized Person Comprehensive 

This course offers an awareness of the issues involved with fall protection. A focus on the best practices in fall protection and the need to protect workers at height highlights this informative training course. Participants are introduced to the regulations and standards governing fall protection as well as the components of a fall protecti​on system​ including body support, anchorages, connectors and rescue.

Upon successful completion of this course the student will receive a certificate recognizing they have completed the training required to meet OSHA and ANSI requirements as an Authorized Person.​

Qualified Rigger & Signal Person training

This training course has been designed to give you the most value in the allotted time and can be held at our location or yours. The Qualified Rigger & Signal Person training seminar is designed to provide students with an awareness of the Federal OSHA and ASME B30 requirements for training all workers involved in rigging operations. The Signalperson portion of the program is designed to qualify the student to provide signals for mobile cranes.
